At the Bollywood Food Club, we don’t really do true film reviews; why bother when there are already so many great bloggers out there doing it so well? So I refer you to Philip’sfil-ums, Filmiholic, and Filmi Geek for some nice insights into Amar Akbar Anthony. I will simply deal with the more superfical and say that any movie that starts out with Pran and a suffering Nirupa Roy instantly wins my heart. I have to add that I liked the patches Anthony wore on his clothing and Akbar’s array of sheer colorful shirts. Amitabh’s Anthony made me proud to be a Catholic, and Vinood’s Amar made me yearn to be a Hindu, while Rishi’s Akbar had me praising Allah. I LOVED this movie. And in particular I loved Rishi Kapoor’s performance in “Pardah Hai Pardah” as well as the voice of its playback singer, Mohammed Rafi. [...]

im a big fan of amitabh bachan and was watching main azaad hoon this morning on zee tv.

As my favaurate actor Amitji has worked in this film so i like the film most . Another good thing is that the film is about 3 brothers who were sepereted at their child hood. This type of film was earlier made on 1973 i.e Yaadon ki Baraat. But this film is more stylish and has glamour in it.

I have seen this film when I was child in 1987.Now I am 30 ,.I remember when I cry in 1987.Today too.The best movie I ever know in all my life.

Great great movie! Watch the extra music numbers. Could have been edited by about an hour but that is what makes it good too, the bad technique.

Wow, well that will show what a memorable storyline….. I don’t remember any big plot twist at Singapore airport…..

Oh wait, hang on, that’s where Sharad Saxena appears with Priya and gets Krish to come with them, and he reveals that he’s a good guy and tells them what happened to Krish’s father.
