Govinda aur Gori

This should be interesting, a vite voman as the love interest of a main character in a totally mainstream Hindi movie that has nothing vaguely Rang de Basanti about it.
Will there be skimpy costumes? Drinking? Smoking? Pre-marital hanky panky? Will the woman playing Chichi’s mother threaten to throw herself down a well?
Can’t wait to find out…

Oh God….
I saw a clip. He’s playing a taxi driver and she’s a tourist and she says to him ‘I can’t live without you’.

I was so looking forward to this movie, but all the reviews I’ve read so far were pretty disappointing, so now I’m kinda … meh
Still love the soundtrack though!

Hey,
You article on Rediff (Ind.Abroad) was a refreshing read.
I should admit that its been a long time I have seen a Bollywood flick. But after your article, I think I should give it a second chance.

Saw it, loved it, especially the Govinda episode - don’t believe the critics, it’s the kind of film that the critics put down, but the audiences love; okay, it’s a tad long, but never bored me, the dance numbers are all you want from Bollywood!

Sounds like a botched out version of RK Narayan’s “The Guide” - firangi style.

GOVINDA WAS LOOKING SMART AND YOUNGER IN FILM SALAAM-E-ISHQ & BHAGAMBHAG .I THINK GOVINDA IS BETTER HERO IN PRESENT TIME.
