Namesake week in NY
As Friday, March 9th and the release of Mira Nair’s The Namesake in theaters draw closer, New York City will see a variety of special screenings and events all over the place:
March 7 - Asia Society - 6 pm free screening for members [sold out]
March 7 - Union Square - WNYC radio has a drawing for free passes for a 7pm screening. Entry form here.
March 10 - New York Public Library - conversation between Jhumpa Lahiri and Mira Nair [tickets $15]
March 12 - Barnes & Noble, Union Square - Jhumpa Lahiri and Mira Nair, promoting the picturebook of the film
