Hey TB, I've got nothing against Queens and I agree, a subway ride there is not that bad at all, I guess it just depends where you're starting from and where you need to get home to afterward.

Darshana, the cool thing about IKEA's cafeteria, in addition to the low prices, is the great view of the planes taking off and landing at the airport.

I wonder if the Regal will screen Sholay, excuse me, RGV ki Aag, this Friday....so far nothing concrete on Fandango...

!!! Heyy Baby was definitely not on my "worth-a-trip-to-Queens" list, but thanks to you I guess I almost have to see it as it is at a theatre I walk past at least 3 times a day!! I definitely hope this is the beginning of a trend, as I love the comfort of the Union Square Regal.

Re: Ikea - there is a free bus to Ikea on Saturdays and Sundays from the Port Authority Building. The last one is around 3 o'clock. Then there is a regular bus to go back to NY if you stay there (at the movies, say) until after the last return bus, which is at around 6:30.

They leave from a platform with a low number, like 5, way downstairs. Also if you go - the cafeteria in Kiea is great paisa fasool.

A subway ride to Queens is not all that bad! I would think it'd be easier getting to Queens than to Jersey.

Hey Anantha,

I drive to IKEA no problem, but I see from the Jersey Gardens website that it's possible to get there by bus from NYC or to take the air train to Newark airport and connect with their shuttle.

It's not going to be a problem for me. I mean, I drive 20 miles to North Bergen or drive about five minutes more to get to Jersey Gardens. But people coming in from the city could be hampered, though its not as bad as getting to Edison or Iselin.
