JWM was a good movie but it was definitely not a memorable one...

Jab We Met was like a Doughnut...
Round and Tempting from the Outside but Hollow from the Inside...

Gagan, no worries and thanks for your comments! :-)

I have to admit, the movie really did make me want to head out to the Punjab straight away.

Sanket, Refugee, what a blast from the past, eh? There are still some songs from that soundtrack that I listen to.

Saw this, so should leave a comment just to demonstrate that I understand categories. :)

nice review. Kareena was good in this one. I forgive her anything after Chameli, but I would have liked to seen the suffering stretch out a little more before the that inevitable denoument. Predictably my sikhni family loved it. They're too tribal for me at times. :)

This was a great little movie & another refreshing movie from Kareena. She debuted with such promise in 'Refugee' but I quickly got tired of her movies but with 'Chameli' she just shone (plus it has that killer song by Sunidhi Chauhan). This is nice breezy time pass and flows quite well - reminded me of 'Socha Na Tha' in that respect...

Liked your memorial article on Navroze Mody. Leaving the comment here to be out of the way of the family and friends who have commented there. Just would feel like an intrusion. It was a different place and time but I could see myself in him along with a number of my friends. Think that was largely because you captured those details that are a reoccurring pattern in male friendships and the personalities that animate the different cliques. Thanks. Fond of the rest the blog as well.
