(Pre- cell phone days.) As I stood out on the landing by the staircase to different floors, waiting for her, I took out a notebook and started jotting down some thoughts. A guy nearby who was also hanging out, said to his wife when said spouse appeared "This poor girl's been waiting for so long, she's started writing a book!" :-) Nic,
