I’m hoping this is just because he’s back from horseback riding in Central Park….
Then again, given what the opening paragraph of a July 10 India Today article said, maybe it’s not: Β “…His extra-curricular activities in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna seem only too innocent in comparison: in one scene when his son, played by Abhishek Bachchan, bangs on the door, the father, a man who likes his women, replies that he is quite tied up. Β The camera pans to reveal that it is literally so – with Bachchan’s hands tied to the bedpost with silken scarves.”
Well, that’s how it is. You can read more at the Hindustan Times site. There’s a link to it from the article.
Abhishek, I read the article but find it hard to believe that that’s the reality.
I see Indian TV channels at home and given how much advertising he does (have you seen the latest spot for Uttar Pradesh? I LOVE it; he’s so stately) I would think that interest in him carries over to the big screen. Look how many films he’s been in during 2005 and 2006…
No takers for Amitabh Bachchan movies. Read this article.

my eyes! my eyes!
Oh, my goodness! I was holding out hope that it was something else (a very ugly belt or tie, etc) but now with that other pic, it’s clear he’s taken off her blindfold thing, put it around his neck and grabbed the whip! I can’t imagine the scenario for the threesome…fatherly advice for the honeymoon?
LOL oh my, this should be interesting! π
I’m going to see it on Saturday morning or afternoon, if all goes well. YAY!!
Yes – that IS a whip. Theres also another movie still from that scene:

I’m not quite sure if I find that funny or disturbing… π
Michael, yes, this should be quite an interesting role for AB 1.0…
BA, thanks, hope you guys enjoy it. I’ve just gotten so caught up in the anticipation of seeing it, especially all those gorgeous shots of NYC.
